Frequently asked questions

How do I place an order?

Please place all orders (including special notes and requests) through the "shop" page. This helps me stay organized and see who ordered what. PLEASE NOTE: The check-out form will ask you to indicate when you are planning to pick-up your order. Please take note of that date and make it a point to pick up your item when you stated.

Can you deliver my pumpkin pie during Thanksgiving week?

Due to the insane popularity of the Thanksgiving pumpkin pies, I will NOT be delivering any pies that week (otherwise I totally risk leaving a pie to burn in the oven). All pies can be picked up in Santiago Bernebeu. You can also use Glovo for the delivery!

How do I conserve my baked goods?

None of my products are made with any sort of preservative, so you will want to eat them within a few days. The bagels are especially sensitive to time. They should be consumed within 24 hours of purchase, or should be wrapped and individually frozen for up to 2 months. They de-frost and taste almost the same as when they are fresh, so don't worry! The pies and cookies should be stored in the refrigerator (or on the counter in an airtight container for the cookies) for up to one week. Past that point, they can be frozen for up to 2 months.

How do I pay?

You can pay in cash, via Pay-Pal, or Bizum. If you would like to use Bizum, the money can be sent to +34 657 508 398. Please include your name and pick up date in the memo.

Can I return my baked good?

I certainly hope you won't want to return anything, but OF COURSE if you have an issue, please talk to me and we can work something out.

I have allergies. Can you make a product without certain ingredients?

I can do my best to accomodate all dietary choices and restrictions, but some ingredients are important to make the product what it is. For example, exchanging margarine for butter doesn't seem to work for me. On the other hand, I am happy to leave out, for example, nuts to make something nut free, and I can opt out of using eggs on the bagels. With that being said, we work in a kitchen that shares equipment with all allergens and therefore, I cannot promise there is not cross-contamination. If you have an idea, or would like to discuss this further, please contact me!

How far in advance should I order my pie for Thanksgiving?

All Thanksgiving pies should be ordered with at least TWO notice, as we are quite busy during this time and need time to prepare and plan. Last minute can possibly be filled, but please send me a message (in the contact form) to find out.

Is there a minimum order for bagels?

Yes, please order a minimum of 6 bagels and please order bagels in rounds of 6 (ie 6, 12, 18, 24, 20). With that being said, feel free to mix and match the toppings! The flavors are added at the end, so it's no problem to ask for 2 of each flavor- or whatever your heart desires).

How did you set your prices?

I determine the prices based on the cost of the ingredients and the amount of time and labor it takes me to make each item. You may find these items at a lower price point in some places, but I am working alone, making each item one at a time. These are prices that I would feel comfortable paying.

Do I have to order 6 of the same flavor with the bagels?

No! Feel free to mix and match the flavors, but please specify EXACTLY what you want on the order form. If you put "6 everything", then I will make 6 bagels with the 'everything' spice, which has garlic and onion in it. Please be specific! The only other thing I ask is that you please make all orders in multiples of 6 (6, 12, 18, 24, etc)

Where is your shop? It just says Santiago Bernebeu.

Great question! At the moment, I don't have a physical walk-in shop and make everything to order, which means it will be fresher and likely still warm when you come to pick it up. Having a physical shop is something I would like in the future, but for now, this model works for me. The address is Calle Poeta Joan Maragall 3 (metro Santiago Bernebeu, exit AZCA)

What packages do you offer?

I offer a 'full brunch package' which includes everything you will need for brunch: - 6 bagels of choice - 1 package of Philaldelphia cream cheese - 1 package of smoked salmon - 1 bottle of orange juice - sliced tomato, red onion, cucumbers

What are the ingredients and allergy information?

Each bagel is different so if you have allergies or specific dietary requests, you should always ask me! Even if you have been a customer in the past, please always remind me of allergies and requests. All bagels are made with a base of: white flour, salt, sugar, yeast, malt, and water. The seeded bagels will have sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion, and garlic. The cinnamon raisin bagels have cinnamon and raisins. All bagels have an egg wash UNLESS YOU SPECIFICALLY REQUEST THAT THEY DO NOT!
